How to Play Mahjongg Solitaire

Find Matching Free Tiles

The board contains 144 tiles arranged in layered patterns. Your objective is to match identical pairs and remove them from the board. However, not all tiles are available at once.

A tile is considered “free” when:

• There are no tiles placed on top of it

• At least one side (left or right) is open

Only free tiles can be selected and matched. Carefully scan the board to spot accessible pairs while planning ahead to avoid blocking future moves.

Recognize Tile Groups

Mahjongg Solitaire features three primary suits:

• Dots – Marked with circular patterns

• Bamboo – Displayed as line symbols

• Characters – Featuring Chinese characters
